In this all-level adult hula hoop class, participants will learn and practice a mix of waist hooping, handheld moves, combinations, and fun tricks. This is a beginner-friendly adult class. Tweens & teens are welcome. An indoor space is available in the event of rain.
Hoop size matters! For waist hooping, a bigger, heavier hoop is easier to keep going. Hula hoops are provided for class. These hoops are handmade and come in a range of sizes and weights. With the right size hoop, it's easy! Think you can't? Yes, you can!
Hooping is a low impact, high fun, heart healthy exercise. Regularly hooping builds strength and endurance, boosts mood and reduces anxiety, and improves balance and coordination.

The shady lawn at Longue Vue is the perfect space for hoop class! It's so dreamy and peaceful there. And it's a leaf blower free facility so, three cheers for that! Attending hoop class is a great way to experience the inspiring garden spaces at Longue Vue! Your class ticket gives you admission to visit the gardens before or after class. You can even pack a lunch and have a picnic on the lawn.
