Hoop sizes for adults are measured in inches around the outer diameter of the hoop.
For many people, the Adult Medium is an ideal beginner size.
Remember- the bigger the hoop, the easier it is for waist hooping.
And, if you have a bigger body, then you'll want a bigger hoop.

Our kids hoops come in three sizes.
Youth Small for ages 2-4.
Youth Medium for ages 4-8.
Youth Large for 8-12.

It usually comes in a 100 foot coil and is available at big box hardware stores.
It's also called PE tubing. A medium size adult hoop uses about 11 feet of tubing.

- I use 1/2-in 125 Psi polyethylene pipe for kids' hoop sizes.
- Hoopologie has two options for connector inserts for 3/4" PE tubing.
- You need a tool to cut your tubing. I use a ratcheting PVC cutter.
- You will need a heat source like a hair dryer, electric kettle, or pot of hot water to soften the ends of the tubing in order to insert the connector.
- I use a combination of decorative tapes and gripping tapes to give shine, sparkle, and texture to the hoop.
